Ensembles

AVAILABLE ENSEMBLES, INSTRUMENTATION AND DESCRIPTION 

STRING QUARTET -  2 VIOLINS, VIOLA AND CELLO
The String Quartet is our premier ensemble. It can be incorporated into a Wedding Ceremony, Reception afterward, or any other musical situation that demands an element of performance perfection. We generally recommend the Quartet to accommodate a larger gathering.

STRING TRIO            2 VIOLINS AND CELLO
Our String Trio is equally at home when performing at a Wedding Ceremony, Reception, etc, and compliments a smaller audience perfectly. With fewer instruments, the Trio’s sound is somewhat lighter, and yet rich and sonorous.

STRING DUO             VIOLIN AND CELLO OR 2 VIOLINS
Recommended for smaller, more intimate gatherings, where a larger ensemble might be unnecessary. Our Duos specialize in performing the music of the Baroque and early Classical period, yet can perform all of the  popular Wedding Classics as well.

HARP AND VIOLIN DUO
A beautiful combination of voices, perfect for a Wedding ceremony.

HARP SOLO
No description is really necessary here, as the Harp can accommodate practically any musical demand.

STROLLING VIOLIN(S)   ONE, TWO OR THREE VIOLINS
If a wandering Minstrel, or perhaps a few, is what you desire, then a strolling violinist may be the perfect fit for your large dinner reception or gathering of any sort. Strolling musicians perform lighter, more popular selections, and most of the older songs from years gone by.

STRING QUINTET     STRING QUARTET WITH DOUBLE BASS
Same as the String Quartet, but with an added bass voice, giving the ensemble a much bigger presence, one that can be seen as well as heard.

*Note:  If desired, Flute can be substituted for one Violin in any of the above ensembles.
